Consultancy
- RPI offers coherent, practicable and viable solutions to all challenges related to the RPI repertoire of activities
- RPI would also undertake performance audit, project evaluations and impact assessments on a case-to-case basis

Advocacy
- RPI envisions acting as an active advocate for promotion of larger peace, social capital and public good for the regional governments, institutions, organizations, academia, civil societies, strategic community and other potential clientele
- It will also institutionalize a forum for the unheard through articulation of cross-cultural engagement, strategic discourse, dialogue, mutual consultation and exchanges
- The advocacy further envisages harnessing and integrating harmonious interests of extra regional stakeholders, inter-governmental organizations, strategic organizations, economic bodies, media houses and NGOs into the larger domain of South-Asian collectivity

Inclusive Cooperation
- Encouraging economic cooperation and collaboration among the countries of the region
- Expanding the intra- and inter-state consultative processes to foster commonality of interests among the countries of the region
- Enlarging the existing scope of cooperation in the social, cultural, sports and other fields among the countries of the region
